PUK! Podcast, 2020-2021
PUK! is a podcast that curates diverse sonorities, words, and forms of storytelling by nomadic artists. Each episode creates a unique mode of communication between the podcast and its guests—ranging from interviews and poetry to manifestos, art statements, and experimental narratives.
PUK exists as an edgeless, blurred sonic space where colors, shapes, and sounds open new routes in the imagination. These elements come together delicately and genuinely, forming the space itself—each episode becoming the artist’s own PUK.
PUK! started as a podcast in December 2020, during the pandemic, driven by an urgent need for connection and sharing. It emerged as part of Dance Me to the Art of Work, a project by Casa degli Artisti. It is also on instagram as PUK! as a kind of podcast art residency which takes audio+photo form.
Where it is published:
Casa degli Artisti: An art residency in Milan. They published “Puk!” as a part of their “Dance me to the art of work” project in 2020 and 2021.
Radioarte.it: Web radio based in Siena, which is dedicated to contemporary music and sound art. They published the podcasts of “Dance me to the art of work” project every Tuesday.
PUK! can be listened on Bandcamp.

I make an analogy between this pleasure and a creative process. Creating something large or small and feeling the pleasure of the output or the process itself. The output may have individual or communal effects either. Big and small effects… And I will call this “thing” as Puk!
